West Virginia Power

Went to the game against the Blueclaws last night. Very impressed with the team. I saw on another thread that the Power was one of the weaker teams in our organization. Sure didn't see it last night. I was particularly interested in watching Josh Bell and Stetson Alie. Bell was a beast. He can really pound the ball. He grounded out to second in his first at-bat but the next 2 he squared up on every single ball. He had a triple and a single, and the other two he flew deep to right field and then hit an absolute laser that the 2B dove and snagged. Unfortunately he did not play in the field so I didn't get to see him there.
Stetson Allie also looked pretty decent, although he seems slow to me. He did hit the ball pretty well and had 2 hits himself. Another kid who looked decent is Junior Sosa. Really don't know anything about him but he kind of stood out himself with his play in general.
The score was 9 to 0 and our pitching looked pretty good. Clayton Homes started the game. Threw consistently in the low 90s but his K/BB ratio wasn't that great. They had him listed on the D/L in the scorecard handouts, so this may have been his return game. Bryson Trepagnier relieved and was interesting. Sidearm delivery and changes the look to 3/4. Also threw in the low 90's.
All in all it was a fun game to watch, at least from the Pirates perspective.
