Weekly Polish Picks...OK, It Hasn't Been Weekly...05 October 2013

I know, this isn't really weekly lately, but better late than never! :) I don't have a whole bunch of polishes for this post. I've tamed it down a bit with the changing I suppose! I am missing one of the polishes I wore in the past few weeks because I just never got around to taking a picture before it chipped. It was really beautiful too! I'll probably wear it again soon, so I'm sure it will turn up again. All of that being said, on to the colors that have adorned my nails the last couple of weeks....

The first polish is from Gabriel and it is in the shade "Fresh Water Pearl". It's a really pretty baby salmony-pink shimmer.

The next color is the one that I never photographed. It is "Porchester Square" from Nails Inc. It's a really nice kind of warm light dove gray.
Zoya's "Storm" was my next pick. I love this shade. It's just your standard black, but it has holographic shimmer throughout. The photo is a little washed out and the shimmery particles actually reflect all the colors of the rainbow, not just silver as it appears. It's a really nice alternative to standard black!

I then went for a glitter shade from Butter London called "Indigo Punk". It's actually a pretty sheer glitter that could easily be used over top of another polish, but like most Butter London sheer glitters, it easily builds to an opaque coating of sparkles as well! I opted for the opaque route, which took 3 or 4 coats of polish to get it the way I wanted it. It's a perfect indigo shade with a hint of fuchsia glitter (you can't see the pink at all in the photo, but it's there). I took this photo with a flash because it gave the most accurate depiction of the base purply-blue glitter. I really like this color and the finish is quite nice - like other Butter London glitters I have tried, it lies very flat on the nail which makes the texture pretty smooth...especially for a glitter!

Finally, I stuck to the moody blues and painted Zoya's "Ibiza" on my digits. Somehow this came out darker than I remembered. It's a definite navy creme, but it looks almost black. It's pretty, just deeper than I remembered.

And there you have my nails since my last nail post! :) I'm loving all my dark colors right now and have so much trouble deciding on the next shade! What's been on your nails and what would you put on them next?!?! I always love to know!!! :)
