First is the random shade and it is from Inglot. They only have numbers to identify them and this is the shade 969. It's a pretty bold minty green and I love the color. The formula was ok...at least as far as I remember. I believe this was 3 coats.
This week, I've stuck with polishes from China Glaze's Summer Sunsational Collection. I love all of the colors from this collection and, though I'm dying to break out the Fall colors (not ready for Fall though!), I'm trying to get in the last days of some Summer shades. The Sunsational Collection is perfect for Summer, so I started the week with Highlight of My Summer. I feel like this has been a popular color this year. It's a neon mint green that really almost glows. The formula is a little streaky, but not too bad for a neon. I used 3 coats to ensure it was even. It dries to a semi-matte finish, but I topped it with Orly's Polishield All-In-One Topcoat for shine. Excuse the weird chips on my middle finger in the photo - I took it right before I removed the polish, so it wasn't at it's best.
The other shade from the same collection that's been gracing my claws this week is China Glaze's That's Shore Bright. I didn't think I would find it all that exciting, and it actually looks like something else I own (I can't think of what specifically), but I actually really love it! It's a pretty warm purple that's bright, but not too bright. I believe this covered evenly in 2 coats. It was definitely not as streaky as "Highlight of My Summer." It also dries to a semi-matte finish, so it's also topped with the same Orly Topcoat. I really love this whole collection of polishes!
That's it for this week! Hope you enjoyed this bit of nail candy. Let me know what polishes you've been loving! Thanks for reading and I'll be back next week...hopefully! :)
