I started the week with a polish from Orly called "Purple Poodle." I saw this the last time I was perusing the nail polish section of Ulta and thought it looked intriguing, so it came home with me. It looks darker in the bottle than on the nails, but it's not a sheer polish. I used two coats and it was perfect! It's a bit of a purplish-berry that flashes a bit blue and a bit fuchsia as the light hits it. As if that weren't nice enough, it's filled with various sized glittery speckle-like particles that make me think of dragon's eggs for some reason. It's quite pretty, but it is a slight pain to remove due to the glittery bits. It's not the worst, but it takes a little effort. Overall, it's a great polish and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! :)
I thought I couldn't top "Purple Poodle," but then I put on "Piccadilly Circus" from Nails Inc. I think this is one of my absolute favorite polishes for Fall!!! It's so beautiful! The picture doesn't quite do it justice. It's a bit deeper in person and in some lights it looks almost like an oxblood. I would say it's a semi-deep raspberry-wine shade, or maybe a black cherry. Whatever you want to call it, it's gorgeous! :) Perfect for Fall and the not-so-distant Holidays!!! The formula of Nails Inc. polishes is really great as well. I used two coats, but probably could have sufficed with just one. Absolutely adore this polish!
And that's it for this week's Polish Picks! As always, I'd love to know what you've been loving for your nails lately too! :) Until next week, thanks for looking!!!
