Cherish your human connections – your relationships with friends and family.
Barbara Bush
On Thursday night for the first time in a long while, we played some family games on our newly purchased XBOX 360. We had a great time! And, after the kids went to bed, my husband and I continued to play until 1 am.
We are both very competitive and my husband usually beats me whenever we go bowling or play miniature golf. But not this time I’m proud to say! We played Horseshoe Hysteria, Hoop Shoot, Skill Ball and Ping Cup (XBOX 360 – Game Party in Motion) and I beat him every time. We laughed a lot!
With our daily lives filled with so many to-do’s, it felt great to reconnect with my husband and just have FUN! We all need reminders at times.
So, this weekend I urge you to find time to reconnect with the people that are most important to you.
It can be as simple as having dinner together.
OR Reading a story to your children
OR just going out on a date
The important thing to remember is to remember WHAT IS IMPORTANT in your life! It’s as easy as that!
Have a great weekend!
