Weekend Chic #1

I recently realised that 99% of my fashion features are 'staged' ie - taken in a particular outfit, in good lighting and all that yeehaw. So I thought that I would mix things up and show you all how I look out and about in the mean streets of Dumfries at the weekend - Enter Weekend Chic!
For the first time since in a loooong time, I decided to don a hat. I wasn't having a bad hair day or anything like that for a change, I just decided that I would put a hat on and see if it suited my larger than life head.
'The hat' is actually my sisters, I bought it for her last year for her birthday and she loved it so much, I bought her the burgundy version at Christmas (ebay "wide brimmed hat" and you'll see similar versions!). I actually really liked wearing it and felt quite fashionable and edgy for a change - someone in a shop even stopped me and told me she thought my outfit was lovely and so well put together - queue cheshire cat style grin for the rest of the day!
The rest of the outfit consists of New Look inspire jeggings, Zanzea black peplum top, George at Asda orange Coat, Primark bag & Simply Be boots (you've all seen them a million times, they're my 'go-to' boots!).
I might be tempted to wear a hat more often...
