I feel as if I have neglected my blog for the past few days. I didn’t mean to, November has just been a very busy month. This is my first semester in college and I am currently drowning in science classes. The good news is after this semester I will be done with all science, math and english/speaking classes! Super Exciting!
Week day morning are definitely not my favorite things- mostly because with mornings comes school. Iv been making it a habit to wake up a bit earlier than usual. I think it makes the day a bit more productive. For the past week iv been waking up at 6am, praying doing some stretches and then take my time getting ready for school along with browsing the internet whilst eating breakfast. We also just got a blender the other day, which means I can make smoothies now!
New years is almost here, and for muslims the new year is just among us. I decided to make a small new years list for the islamic new years. Ofcourse, its not as large as my 2014 new years list (hopefully Ill accomplish something on there) but nevertheless, its a list worth putting to the test. Some of the things on my small new years resolutions are things that I believe will improve my life- ideas that will be easy to accomplish but will impact me in a good way
- Wake up earlier than usual- I love sleep (who doesn’t), but i once read that waking up just 10 minutes earlier than usual can make your day 2x more productive.
- Eat breakfast every morning- lately iv been skipping the breakfast, i can’t seem to find time for it in the morning. With waking up a bit earlier than normal, I will be able to save time to eat a healthy breakfast
- Be Inspired- I guess this is kind of broad. I once read a quote that said “live a life you would be jealous of if you saw others living it”. I want to start living my life the way I would like it to be. By this I mean putting more focus into my school work, spending more time doing things I love and just creating a life that doesn’t look good on the outside but also feels good on the inside.
- Walk in the rain- I don’t mean this literally..although i do enjoy the rain. I mean instead of hiding from my problems I should face them and “walk” in the rain a bit. After all, after a rainstorm comes a rainbow
The hardest battle you will ever have to fight is between who you are now and who you want to be.
