Well then, here’s a sweet tale called “A Vanilla Story….”
A Vanilla Story is a line of bodycare products (under The Vanilla Co.) made with 100% organic vanilla.
Here’s a little review of their products:
Bug Off mosquito repellent is DEET free so it’s very safe to use. However, some people could be allergic to vanilla so always do a skin patch test first.
I don’t know how it could repel mosquitos when it smells so good, it actually smells a bit like the caramelized sugar (or arnibal in Filipino) in taho!
Clean Hands 100% Organic Vanilla Hand Sanitizer is a moisturizing gel that chefs, bakers, gourmands, foodies & culinary students would appreciate and love. It’s best to use before & after cooking, baking, eating or just for maintaining clean, fresh and germ free hands!
Using this makes me feel luxurious, it’s as if I’m sanitizing my hands with vanilla extract. Hmm…I wonder if it could double as such?đŸ˜‰
Vanilla Creme lotion is a body moisturizer that leaves you smelling like a cupcake. I love that it doesn’t have a sticky feel, but rather, leaves your skin smooth, moisturized and soooo yummy-smelling!
Unlike the usual cloying, overly sweet, vanilla fragrance mists that makes my stomach turn; Eau de Vanille Cologne, being all natural, has a very light vanilla caramel-y scent. Sort of like the smell when you enter a cupcakery - yummy! I just wish though that it has a longer staying power. I think, a solid perfume instead of cologne would be better.
And my favorite of all, is that cute hand-knitted vanilla oil-infused “Vanillabear” that came with my package! According to the story, Vanillabears are “elusive beings that are hardly ever seen and only in rare moments, when the moon and sun are in the skies together that you might catch a glimpse of them. And if you find vaniilabears then, you’re lucky, because they’ll tuck in with you with sweet dreams ‘til you wakey.” Ohh, how blessed I am to find my very own Madagascar Gray vanillabear! Love. Love. Love it!
Overall, I’m very pleased with this product line. I’m sure vanilla lovers and gourmand scents lovers alike would love A Vanilla Story bodycare products too!
