Chile's Atacama Desert holds the distinction of being the driest place on the planet, with some areas not receiving any rainfall in recorded history. But, the place is also known for it's amazing landscapes and its awe-inspiring night skies. With no water vapor in the air, very little light pollution, and thanks to a high altitude, the Atacama is one of the best places to go stargazing, which is why so many observatories are built there. This video, takes us into the heart of the desert to witness its beauty and solitude first hand. As you'll see, it is an excellent place to practice social distancing.
