Colorado's Mount Antero is one of the state's vaunted 14ers-which is to say that it is amongst the 58 peaks that reach above 14,000 feet (4267 meters) in height. This, of course, makes it a popular destination for hikers, and on occasion mountain bikers too. In this video, we join a couple of riders as they first push their bikes up the steep slopes of Antero, then temporarily parks their rides in order to make a dash for the summit. Once they've bagged the peak, the real fun begins however, as they hit the trail on what appears to be an outstanding descent. Truly a fantastic ride and one I'd love to try someday.
