We have seen it in politics how errand boys turned out to be more successful than their former masters – a case of DP William Ruto and former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo. The same is also true of King Kaka and Chiwawa.Chiwawa met King Kaka back in 2007, the former was a well established rapper while the latter was only a nobody with big dreams.“The first time I met him… he was just a skinny boy who looked hungry. He was calm and he knew how to engage people in a conversation. He used to tell me he was my fan, and we hit it off well since that first day,” said Chiwawa in a YouTube video.

Chiwawa took in King Kaka who served as a studio errand boy before he finally promoted him to a hype-man who engaged the audience before Chiwawa took over to perform.“The first time I heard Rabbit rap was when we were in Kisumu at a friend’s house and he asked if I wanted to hear him rap. After he did, I told him he no longer had to be a hype-man… that he needed his own shows,” said Chiwawa.
