Manchester alternative rock band Valetta hit the ground running with their debut single Irregular Low, a tinkling pop song with bubbling sounds and top shelf vocal arrangments, filling the gap that XTC left when they called it quits in 2005. Take note of the noisy post-rock ending. Apparently the one-sided love affair that is mentioned in the lyrics went up in flames, but it's impossible to look away from the spectacle.
