Vader's First Weekend Home

I will admit, I was very apprehensive about adopting a boxer and having him inside the house with us. I've only ever had a small dog indoors. Each day that passes I become a little less anxious than the day before. Vader is an extremely good dog. I can't even believe how well he listens. We are blessed to have such a well mannered dog. 


He will definitely be living the good life from here on out. This was pretty much all he did all weekend.


Since it was technically my fiancé's first Father's Day, I wanted to make sure he had a gift from Vader. He loves unique sodas so I gathered a couple from World Market and Bevmo. I also found this old fashioned soda case from World Market. I'm pretty sure the fact that Vader posed with the gift was the best part of the gift. My fiancé loved everything about it.


Oh, and then he laid around some more. 

Sunday night we went out for a family walk to Sprouts and Starbucks. Vader attracted a lot of attention. All the ladies wanted to pet him. 

My fiancé asked him, "Where were you five years ago when I was single?" Shirt is fromBarre Socks. It's incredibly soft and perfect for Summer. 

Vader had his first Starbucks experience. He was dying to go inside but I stayed outside with him while Stephen grabbed our drinks. He likes to walk up to every door he approaches. He's very social and he loves other people. Other dogs? Not so much. We're going to have to work on that.
