U.S. Economy Keeps Going Strong, Growing at 2.8% Rate in Second Quarter

The U.S. economy grew briskly in the second quarter. Gross domestic product rose at a 2.8% annual rate in the second quarter, adjusted for seasonality and inflation, the Commerce Department said Thursday.
