I got this primer so long ago, and I am finally round to writing the post. I wanted to give it a fair trial period before I made my judgment and I wanted to come to a fair conclusion.
" Smooth on a little Complexion Primer Potion before foundation (or alone!) to help foundation apply smoothly, last longer, and totally minimize the look of pores and fine lines. This velvety, paraben-free formula flashes down to a soft-matte finish without the greasy, heavy feel sometimes associated with foundation primers. The result? Flawless skin with an airbrushed look and improved surface texture. Helps foundation resist fading away. Ideal for oilier skin, but dry complexions who want pore perfection will love it, too. The convenient squeeze tube has a precise needle-nose tip - squeeze out the exact amount of primer you need. And the universal nude shade works on all skin tones. "This is what it says on the Debenhams website. So essentially it is a tinted primer, that is supposed to minimize pores. I love the fact that it is tinted because you can wear it alone. When you put it on you can wear it alone as it really does just blur the look of imperfections. It does have a velvety finish with a softer look. I would wear it alone if I was having a good skin day but if, like now, I had larger breakouts I would definitely have to wear a foundation/concealer over the top. I also do think it minimizes pore, to an extent. If it is worn alone you can see a difference in your pores, but I feel like if a foundation is worn over the top you can still see the pores. I feel like putting foundation over the top makes it almost settle. I think I have come to the conclusion that I have oily skin (it changes every day..) and I do feel like it helps my make up last longer. I also think that it helps my make up fade nicely... Do you know what I mean, it helps it the foundation last but when it does start to fade it fades nicely rather than just running of my face.
