Urban Decay – Naked 3 Palette

By Beautybykaris @beautybykaris

Hey there,

So it took me at least a month, to get my hands on Urban Decays Naked 3 Palette. I had heard so much hype around it, and once I had seen the gorgeous rose-hued shadows, I knew I HAD to have them.

I managed to miss out on the preorder, (I obviously wasn’t quick enough), and they must have sold out within minutes on the day of the launch, as I could not find them in stock, ANYWHERE! But I was determined, and became the proud owner of these beautiful eye shadows, at the beginning of January.

Ever since they arrived at my door, I have not been able to stop playing around with these colours, creating so many different looks, I absolutely love them. The palette came with several samples of Urban Decays eye primers to, (A-Mazing), so I have been able to wear my eye shadows from day to night, (Perfect)…Of course my favorite has to be the anti-ageing one, I do love a multitasking product.

From left to right the colours are….

Strange, a creamy pink
Dust, a dusty, shimmery pink
Burnout, a rose, gold
Limit, a matte rose
Buzz, a shimmer, deep rose
Trick, a bronze, rose
Nooner, a matte purple/pink tone
Liar, a metallic purple/pink
Factory, a metallic purple/bronze
Mugshot, a metalic mauve/gold
Dark side, a deep mauve
Black heart, black matte with red micro glitter

Now you may see something different to me, but my best description of the colours, is a range of matte and shimmery, pink, purple, and mauve tones.

Urban Decays description is… Ultra-smooth mattes, gorgeous pearls and glimmering metallics, from the palest, shimmery pink to the deepest black matte with red micro glitter, (And of course they are the experts).

So here are two different looks, I achieved using the Naked 3 Palette, (For more looks, including a more night time look, check out my Instagram: kkbrelsford).

For my first look, I used ‘strange’ for the base colour, highlighted the outer eye and up to the brow with ‘dust’, and used ‘burnout’ for the deeper, more prominent color on the eyelid.

For my second look, I chose from the middle of the palette. I used ‘liar’ as the base, gradually bringing it up to the outer eye, finishing up to the brow with ‘trick’, and lining the under eye. ‘Factory’ was then used on the outer edge of the eyelids, and slowly blended in from the outside in.

I have created a look with the final four colours, factory, mugshot, darkside and black heart, which can be seen on my Instagram: kkbrelsford.

I used black liquid eye liner to finish the look, and the same mascara each time.

WHICH LOOK DO YOU PREFER?

Lots of love,
