UnBroken | What Are My Thoughts

By Heather Hahn @HeatherHahnn

When it comes to the holiday season, there is nothing more that I love, then catching up on the latest new released movies.

This past week, I had the chance to see the movie “Unbroken“, which was actually  directed by Angelina Jolie. The movie stars, Matthew Crocker, Jack O’Connell, Garrett Hedlund, and a few others to name.

The overall story line of the movie is that character Louis Zamperini, who is an Olympic athlete, joined the armed forces during the second world war. Little did he know, he was only to be captured by the Japanese navy after an almost fatal plane crash in the Pacific. When the Japanese have him, they send him to a refugee camp, only to face daring and tough challenges ahead.

What were my thoughts on this movie?

I felt like it was a very moving, emotional movie being based on a true story. It is 100% a must see movie, and certainly teaches you a thing or two about how people were treated in the past during war. In todays generations, we take such big and little things for granite, without remembering and realizing how life was like in the past.

Would I see this movie {again} ?

Absolutely! I will honestly more-then likely own it.
