Unboxing My First Rocksbox and A Special Surprise

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Words cannot describe how excited I am about this post!  About a week and a half ago, I received an email from this company called Rocksbox with an offer to try them out for three months free.  I did some research because I had never heard about them, but I was impressed with what I saw and signed up.  Today I received my first box and I am in love. I also have a special surprise for you guys. If you enter in the code kristenwxoxo, you will get your first month completely free! You can sign up to be a Shine Insider here.

Rocksbox is a monthly subscription box.  For $19 a month, you receive three pieces of jewelry on loan.  You can wear these pieces as much as you want and when you send them back, they will send you another three pieces.  You can do this as many times as you want. When you sign up, you take a quick survey so Rocksbox can determine your style and send you pieces that you will like. After the survey, a stylist will pick out your pieces and send it right to you. You also get $10 each month to use towards any piece that you love so that you can add it to your permanent collection of jewelry.
I love jewelry, but it isn't something I wear all the time or spend money on. Rocksbox is perfect for anyone like myself. You get to try a variety of different styles and designers that you otherwise may not have the chance to.
What I Got This Time:
House of Harlow 1960 Sunburst Bar Necklace in Gold, $38 value
Gorjana Mara Cuff, $153 value
Gamine Zara Rings in Mixed Metals, $56 value

Honestly, these pieces are not something I would have picked out for myself. But I love them for that reason.  The pieces are simple, but still unique and can go with a variety of outfits. My favorite is the necklace. The design is gorgeous and one minor detail makes it stand out to me. You know how with some necklaces you have to carefully make sure the front faces the front and the necklace doesn't get all twisted around? Well, you don't have to worry about it with this House of Harlow necklace. The front and back of the necklace is exactly the same. I also love the rings simply because they actually fit. My fingers are small, so almost all rings side right off. But these fit like a dream. The  same situation is true with bracelets, but this cuff is adjustable and looks great on my wrist. I also like the tribal detail on it.
Based on what I have experienced, I highly recommend signing up and trying them out.  Shipping is quick and you don't have to pay to ship back the pieces sent to you. I also love the personalization aspect of it. I got a short letter with a description of each piece.

Again, if you enter the code kristenwxoxo when signing up, you will get your first month completely free!
If you follow me on Intsagram (@atlantanbeauty), you will probably be seeing a lot more of these pieces in detail.
I will be back soon to review a new eyeshadow that has become a favorite of mine. =) But I need to hit the gym first. See you soon!
