Ready for the Ultimate Pizza Sauce?

Come on, who doesn’t love pizza?

And just because we’re vegans now doesn’t mean we have to give it up – we just have to tweak it a bit.

A whole wheat crust, a few more veggies, this ultimate pizza sauce, and maybe even a little of my Amazing Vegan Cheese Sauce to bring it all together…..

Yummers!

Over the years, I have been perfecting my homemade pizza.

This is the result – my secret recipe.

It’s Sweet
It’s Tangy
It’s Savory
And it’s even a tiny bit spicy!

And you want to know the best part of all?

You don’t even have to cook it!

Whip up a batch as the dough is rising and by the time your ready to toss that first pie – the sauce will be ready.

Just that easy.  Can you say Pizza Pizza?

Print Divine Fat Free Pizza Sauce

Total time:  10 mins

Serves: 2 Pizzas

A sweet, tangy, savory, and even a bit spicy pizza sauce that requires no cooking and comes together in minutes - it's pizza time! Ingredients
  • A 6oz can Tomato Paste
  • ¾ Cup Hot Water
  • 2-3 Cloves Fresh Garlic – Chopped
  • 1 Tbls Honey (or agave nectar)
  • 1 Tbls Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce (low sodium)
  • ½ tsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • ¾ tsp Onion Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ tsp BlackPepper
  • ¼ tsp Oregano
  • ¼ tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ tsp Basil
  • A pinch Red Pepper Flakes and/or Cayenne
Instructions
  1. This is a “as simple as it gets” no cook recipe.
  2. Add the Tomato Paste to a medium sized bowl
  3. Using a Pyrex Measuring Cup, heat the 6 oz of water in the Microwave for about 50 seconds.
  4. Slowly whisk the hot water and paste together to make a thick sauce
  5. Add the remaining ingredients, one at a time, while constantly stirring
  6. Cover and let sit for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to come together.
Notes This makes enough sauce for 2 large pizzas. 3.3.3077
