He came home from work and walked in with two dozen red roses. He’s pretty much perfect. He later told me he still had to get me a gift. I was surprised and I told him I thought the roses were my gift.
In case you don’t remember, he made me a mug last year. A1 for our first year anniversary. And he had my engagement ring in that mug when he proposed. Well, I guess he wants to make me another one for our second year anniversary. I didn’t realize he was going to do that every year. I think that’s incredibly sweet. I can’t wait to have a whole collection of mugs to show all the years we’ve been together.
We had to take a picture before we left for dinner. Okay, I had to have a picture. The tripod my fiancé bought has really come in handy. And I wore the exact same outfit I wore on our first date. Same sweater. Same jeans. Unfortunately, I had to wear different shoes because I don’t have the boots I wore that night anymore. (RIP boots)
We went to Fresh Agave for dinner. I had been craving a margarita so I ordered one. It was delicious and strong! They were not stingy with the tequila at all. I also ordered a taco salad. Cheese was not listed on the menu but when it came, it had cheese on it. So I ate it. I stress when I eat cheese because I am convinced it makes me break out. My fiancé always calms me down and tells me I probably break out because I stress about it.
We ended the night with a trip to Target and Beach House Frozen Yogurt for dessert. We went back home and watched How I Met Your Mother. We’re on the last season. Almost done! I ended up falling asleep on the couch before 9. I know. I have a feeling it was mostly from the tequila. I am pretty sure I won’t have another drink for the rest of the year.
I had a wonderful night celebrating our love. This morning we are relaxing on the couch, watching How I Met Your Mother and doing some Cyber Monday shopping. I should say I’m giving him ideas and he’s doing the buying. I keep going back and forth on what I want for Christmas but I think I may have made my decision. We're also sharing this coffee. My fiancé found these at Wal-Mart. All you have to do is add hot water. They are non-gmo and dairy free. They are made with real coconut so they are extra creamy. They also have a tea and cocoa, which we have but haven't tried yet.
