Turn It Up Tabata

There are two kinds of people who workout- those who love cardio and those who hate it. You can put me in the later. There is nothing more boring to me than 30 minutes of steady state cardio on the elliptical, treadmill or bike.

But put me in a workout class and I am good to go. That group atmosphere motivates me and I don’t find myself staring at the clock. Unfortunately I can’t always take a group fitness class so I do need to do machine based cardio occasionally.

This Turn It Up Tabata will leave you a hot sweaty mess! You can do this on the treadmill, bike, elliptical or if you really want to work hard… the stepmill. Oh yes, the stepmill. What I commonly think of as a torture device but kicks my butt every.single.time. By the time I was done with this workout I was a dripping mess. I had to wipe down pretty much every surface of the machine. 

A little tabata workout (which is 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off) and makes your body a fat burning machine all day. Next time you want to change up your cardio workout give this tabata a try.
