Hello fellows, I went up to town the other day to check out some bits and bobs.
As you may have heard, Boots has been taken over by Walgreens which explains why their has been an influx of American brands popping up in there.
I've also noticed the range of products from certain companies has become a lot more varied, which is great for us beauty junkies!
Anyways, here are my sneaky pics and I hope you enjoy!

I'm in love with Models Own nail polishes at the mo, if you havent tried them out I really recommend them. The color range is fantastic, and I have been wearing Beach Party on my nails for the past three or four days, and it hasn't cracked or chipped yet at all so i'm very pleased with the quality.
Indian Ocean is a color that I have had my eye on for quite a while, but wasn't sure if the color was really me. Usually I shy away from these kind of shimmery nail polishes because they can often look a bit tack,  but this one always catches my eye. After doing some research I have found that apparently it is quite shear and needs a few coats to get the best effect, but judging by the swatches I have seen online it's defo worth it!

Havent seen much info on this Dr Jart stuff yet. Unfortunately, this is yet another brand that doesn't cater for dark skin tones (what is going on!?) and although BB creams can be used as a base under foundation, the 'whitening' ingredients creep me out a little bit.
Anyways, curiosity killed the cat, and after visiting the Dr Jart website I've decided i'm actually more interested in the pore refiners from this company, so I hope those come into Boots soon!

I am in not a fan of L'oreal products, and havent owned any for quite a few years now (excluding The Bodyshop stuff!) but when I saw this I was slightly intrigued.
Judging from the packaging alone, i'm guessing it is supposed to be some kind of dupe for the Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair? I could be wrong though, so I shall have to investigate further.

Sorry for the unappetising tester packaging, but I was rushing to take a pic because the security man was shoeing around, making me feel a bit uneasy :-/
Me and my boyfriend have been getting very into Egypt stuff recently and trying to figure out how the pyramids were built (dont ask!) and during our research I found out that the rose was one of the most coveted flowers in ancient Egypt, and it was used as a gentle ingredient to heal and purify the skin. Sounds good to me!

This stuff smells amazing! A bit on the pricey side, but i've heard it is very nice. As you can see, the  packaging specifies that it is for dry to very dry skin which would be great for me as i'm in need of a new moisturiser to keep my legs and elbows hydrated.
Let me know if you have any product recommendation and things, I love reading and replying to all your comments so keep them coming :-)
