One man's food is another's poison, the popular adage goes. This is the present situation for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly.
The Ivorian is experiencing a tough spell at United, playing just 19 minutes before been hauled off  in United's last match against Newcastle. Regardless of that, reports have it that Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in securing his services from United.
Further reports state that Bailly is tired of life under United boss Jose Mourinho, the Ivorian could be lured away from the club in January as a result.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a big admirer of Bailly and is willing to make United an offer for the out of favour defender. On the other hand, Arsenal gaffer, Unai Emery is familiar with the defender from his days in the La Liga. Emery was coach at Sevilla when Bailly played at former club Villareal.
Manchester United might be reluctant to sell Bailly to a premier league rival, but this is football where anything is possible.
