Top 5 Shooting Guards in the NBA (2013)

At number 5 we have OJ Mayo of the Dallas Mavericks. A very underrated who has used this season to show off his talents. Mayo is currently averaging 18.3 PPG 3.9 APG and is averaging 1.1 SPG. Mayo is leading the Mavericks in scoring with Dirk Nowitzki out but with Nowitzki back I believe Mayo will continue to play at a high level and get better.
The next one at number 4 we have Monta Ellis of the Milwaukee Bucks. Ellis is averaging 18.8 PPG 5.4 APG and 1.7 SPG. Ellis is a great player scoring and when giving the opportunity can make clutch shots down the stretch. Ellis along with Brandon Jennings arguably make up one pf the best back court in the NBA and will probably lead the Bucks to the playoffs.
At number 3 we have The Beard James Harden of the Houston Rockets. This season Harden was traded from the Thunder to the Rockets and in is the best thing that has happen to Harden. Currently Harden is 4th in scoring with 26.5 PPG  5.3 APG and 1.1 SPG. Harden has shown this season that not only he can score but lead a team currently the Rockets are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a record of 21-17. Harden has made a strong case for Most Improved Player of the season. If Harden continues to play at a high level he will become one of the elite players in the NBA.
At number 2 we have Flash Dwyane Wade. Wade is averaging 20.3 PPG 4.3 APG and 1.3 SPG. Wade is one of the best finishers in the NBA alongside Lebron James and is a good perimeter defender and a clutch player both offensively and defensively. With Wade healthy playing with Lebron James the Miami Heat may not only retain the first seed they currently hold but win yet again another title for the second straight year.
The number 1 best shooting guard in the NBA is The Black Mamba Kobe Bryant. Kobe is leading the league in scoring with 29.8 PPG and 4.8 APG. At his age Kobe is still putting up big numbers which is really impressive. Kobe is one of the best scorers in the league and a good defender. He is one of the clutches players in NBA history on both ends of the court. Although the Lakers record is not the greatest Kobe is still playing like a superstar and will do anything to will his team to the playoffs.
