By Ireviewuread

Let's face it, beauty products are expensive. One bottle of moisturiser at the very least will be priced at about SGD$15. With that, today I'm going to bring to you a cheaper alternative to keep your face beautiful. Top 5 natural beauty treatments you can make without forking out a tone of money!

1. Cucumber

Cucumbers are one of the most commonly used natural remedies for an impromptu spa treatment. Great for hydrating your face and reducing the water retention on your eyes. Do note, there seemed to be a misconception that cucumber can reduce dark eye circles. They do not.

Aside from applying the cucumber onto your face, cucumber can also be used to detoxify your system. Mix it with a few slices of lemons, put it in the fridge and you're done! If you do not like the taste of cucumber or lemon, you can mix it with other things such as raspberry, mint leaves and such. Do not be afraid to customised your detox water for it's supposed to help you freshen up your day.

2. Lemon

Due to the acidity levels of lemon, they are most commonly used to dry up one's acne or whiten one's acne scar. User must remember to use this with caution. Always mix the juice with a moisturising agent such as Honey or Aloe Vera so that the citrus acid does not dries up your skin.

3. Honey

Honey is a moisturising factor which many uses as a mask. Also known to be an element which helps soothes one throat. Honey Lemon mask is great for moisture and reduction of the scars and skin tone. Aside from masks, honey can also be used too heal chapped lips too.

4. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is known as the miracle healer. It can reduce pimples, acne scars, moisture, brighten and may other beauty and health benefits. It can be used as a disinfectant too!

For myself, I am too lazy to get the leaf to strip it, cut it and preserve it. Thus, I use Jorubi Aloe Vera Gel as a replacement. Can be found at Watsons or Guardian for SGD$19 per bottle. Quite a steal for I have used it for half a year and there are still abundance left.
