Top 5 Korean Beauty Standards Ft Indian Beauty Standards

By Get Set Blush @GetSet_Blush
It's been long time that I have posted about Korean Makeup Trends after the very famous 3 popular Korean Makeup Trends 2013
I am back again with some interesting comparison between Indian beauty standards and Korean beauty standards.

1. The Eyes

India:
I have observed that Indians prefer natural eye color or we use some colored contact lenses. But definitely not the circle lens.

Korea:
I do not see a single K-Pop artist or an actress sporting the natural contact lenses. All they want is the circle lens. I actually love their eyes more when they wear the circle lens. If the circle lens is colored, then it is a huge plus.

2. Hair

India:
Indians prefer naturally thick black hair. We do experiment with colors in the form of highlights and low lights but never an all over shade. Also, Indian love to have their hair wavy, curly and occasionally straight.
Korea:
Koreans prefer dyeing their hair with lighter color. The usual colors are light brown, blonde. They prefer global coloring rather the lowlights or highlights. Most of the Koreans love their hair to be straight.

3. Lip Color

India:
We Indians love bold colors. If we wear lipstick, it will be seen. We want to cover our entire lip even a bit outside of the lip to make them look bigger and fuller.
Korea:
The bitten lips look. It is quite natural looking on their fair skin tone.

4. Makeup Finish

India:
We prefer our skin to be matte and not oily. We use a highlighter to get that extra glow but never forget to apply mattifying cleanser, toner , moisturizer and most importantly the mattifying primer.
Korea:
The makeup is all about layering products and the skincare products take the maximum place on the face. Not much concealer, no mattifying products except the all natural healthy glow wet-looking skin.

5. Bangs

India :
We love bangs and we just have one style in bangs. The front bangs and they just blow-dried or curled a bit or straightened totally.
Korea :
Cuteness overload is what the bangs stand for. The bangs are set in a way that they take a shape of a heart.
