Top 3 Vegan Skincare Masks

By Bria

Regularly using a clay based treatment mask has proven to me to be essential in maintaining good quality skin. They help draw out dirt, oil, and other impurities from the skin and even offer non abrasive exfoliation of dead skin cells. Today I want to share with you my top picks for the task, 3 cruelty-free and vegan clay masks.

Cocoon Apothecary Ancient Mud Mask

I've have mentioned this a few times on the blog already but I can't stop talking about it, the Cocoon Apothecary Ancient Mud Mask is holy grail for me. Completely detoxes my skin and is the most exfoliating clay mask I've used to date. It works for all skin types, the ingredients penetrate deep into your pores and drags out all the gunky bad stuff and leaves your skin revitalized and brand new.

Acure Organics Cell Stimulating Mask

The Acure Organics Cell Stimulating mask was one that had to grow on me a bit, I first tried it at a time where I was used to and expected to have facial discomfort after treating my skin with a mask. However when using this mask the tightness and dryness I had formerly associated with using facial clay masks was not at all present. When you rinse this off your skin, because of the oils present in the formulation your skin feels soft and rejuvenated. This mask as well is great for all skin types and I use it all year round however it does get used most frequently by me in the winter months just because it both declogs my pores but also does not make my skin lose moisture.

Derma E Charcoal Mask

Last but not least I want to tell you about the Derma E Charcoal Mask, as far as pore detox and exfoliation strength I would place this in between the previous two. It exfoliates more than the Acure but does not declog as intensely as the Cocoon Apothecary. This is one I enjoy using when I have been wearing makeup back-to-back every day because it powerful enough to make sure I go to sleep with clean pore but not to abrasive for my to use every other day.
