Last month I was presented with this incredible which was a special collaboration with TooFaced and to say that I was excited by this is an understatement. Upon opening up this limited edition box I was amazed to find a stunning collection of Too Faced products including a full sized Chocolate Bar Palette and the new highly coveted Better than Sex Mascara in the new Waterproof version. This truly did make my day! As someone who loves gorgeous packaging, just look at the box it all came in .... for me its all about those details.

I actually already own the eyeshadow palette but it is one of my most used palettes so to have a back up is just perfect as I know I shall hit pan on a few shades soon. I also own the original Better than Sex Mascara so I thought I would just give a little run down on the contents and create my own Chocolate make-up look using all of the above products and I am not wearing false lashes so stay tuned to hear my rave review about the new Better than Sex Waterproof Mascara (hint: its incredible!).

Melted Lip in Chihuahua (Mac Soar lip liner used to line).
This is definitely an eyeshadow palette I would highly recommend to all as it has a great mix of shimmer and matte shades that are all very wearable for any occasion. The powders are so soft, highly pigmented, blendable and are actually made from cocoa powder so the whole palette does indeed smell of chocolate too. Can it really get any better? I posted a full review of it should you want to know more about it. It's a stunning palette to own.
Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer in Medium/Deep
This is a product I had not tried and yet again it smells just like chocolate as it is infused with antioxidant rich cocoa powder. I was thinking it would be too dark for me but in fact, this shade matches my skin perfectly as the signature bronzing pigments are very unique in adjusting to your skin tone. I have to say I am really impressed by this bronzer as it is truly matte with no shimmer or glitter so great for contouring with and I can see myself purchasing the full size of this. If you are looking for a new summer bronzer then do look at this one!
I used this eyeshadow primer years ago but Urban Decay Primer Potion kind of stole my heart in terms of eyeshadow primers but having tried this one yet again, I can't believe I stopped using it. This works so well with it's Too Faced family members but is a fantastic eye primer with any shadows and again, one I would most definitely recommend. Aswell as holding your shadows in place it's super creamy, glides over the eyelids and really intensifies the pigment in the shadow shades. If you have issues with your eyeshadow creasing for just not lasting on your eyelids then this is the product you most surely should be looking at.
I am a big fan of the Melted lipsticks as I know they seem to get mixed reviews due to the packaging of them but I real don't mind. These lipsticks give you the staying power of a stain with the intense colour of a liquid lipstick and are very long wearing. I have a couple of them already in my collection and on first glance of this shade, I was worried it wasn't really me at all as it appeared very dark but I am in total love with it so never judge until you try! It reminds me of Mac Velvet Teddy but a more intense version so if you like a deep pink brown nude then this is a shade to check out. It is the perfect shade to compliment this whole chocolate bar look.
I have used in the past the original Better Than Sex mascara which again gets very mixed reviews as it is ultra volumising with a tendency to go clumpy but if you like that messy lash look rather than natural, sleek and defined then you shall love it. So o nto the new waterproof version which ultimately should be the same but waterproof I was assuming? Too Faced say that the hourglass shaped brush unlocks the collagen fuelled formula that thickens, lengthens and curls lashes for extreme volume and dramatic lashes. You can apply it in coats to get the desired amount of drama that you so wish. It claims to be play proof, tear proof for all day wear whilst conditioning the lashes.
I have to say that I did like the original version but not enough to entice me away from my beloved Benefit They're Real but the Waterproof version, I . To me this feels like a with a whole different formulation. It still performs in the way like the original one does to give you long voluminous lashes but I much prefer the formulation of the waterproof version as it does not feel as clumpy or drying as the original one. This one applies a lot better to the lashes to get the desired about of How did it Perform?volume that you like without flaking. Now I don't have mega long lashes naturally but as you can see from the pictures above my lashes look longer, very voluminous yet still defined!
Mascaras always get mixed reviews as we are very different when it comes to our eyes and lashes but for me I have The Waterproof Test - Passed! I wear contacts so my eyes are always watering or I have to apply eyedrops a lot and boy this stuff is very waterproof! I mean I haven't been swimming or anything but I did splash water all over my eyes and face to see if there was all smudging or leaking and I can honestly say there was fallen in love with it and is definitely going to be my summer mascara as I feel totally confident that I shall be smudge free with voluminous lashes when I wear this. I am more impressed than I actually thought I would be so if you are looking for a good waterproof mascara, you know which one to try. ot even a flake. I am very impressed. But with every longwear waterproof mascara means that when you want to remove it, it can be challenging! You will need to use an oil or balm to remove this and really massage into the eyelashes as my usual Bioderma that always removes waterproof was just not getting anywhere. I could have used the entire 500ml bottle and I think my mascara still would have been standing.
