I’m always drawn towards the make-up department in TK Maxx, however since I made the decision to go cruelty-free I worried that I wouldn’t find any cruelty-free bargains in such a pot luck shop. Oh how wrong I was!
TK Maxx also had this set in green, blue and metallic shades at the time I was there. I received a Jemma Kidd eye pencil as a gift with a magazine recently and really liked it. I also recently reviewed Jemma’s wonderful make-up book so I was really pleased to find Jemma Kidd make-up at a great price so that I could try out more from her brand.
The idea behind this palette is that it’s a compact all-in-one for when you’re out and about and don’t want to take a suitcase of make-up with you! This palette contains four neutral shimmer eyeshadows, a concealer, a beautiful creme blush and a pink toned lip gloss. The colours would looked great on everyone and this palette is the perfect size for popping in your handbag.
This palette has 20 cream, brown, gray and black toned eyeshadows and 10 lip colours which include nudes, purples, pinks and reds. There’s also a nice large mirror and two applicators making this pallette completely portable. I’m looking forward to seeing what looks I can create with this!
TK Maxx had loads of these little pouches of products. They are small loose items which TK Maxx grouped together and sold as a set. There were products from Bourjois and Calvin Klein as well as New CID at the time I was in the store.
I haven’t been able to find the palette anywhere in the UK but it is available in Target’s US site for $15. Again, the camera doesn’t pick up the colours very well here but the range from the brightest white to the deepest black, and range from mattes to shimmers.
Has anyone picked up any beauty bargains from TK Maxx recently? Or TJ Maxx as it’s known in the US?
