It is frustrating. I'm not shocked by it, but was hoping we could at least pull out a few wins against the bottom dwellers until it all imploded when we got to competition.
This inevitable catastrophy better lead to a change in the Head Coach and GM or we will become perennial bottom feeders. I know it is going to happen, but I don't know if anything is going to be done about it until it will take years or even decades to repair.
Lets' face reality. This team no longer plays down to its competition. It's as bad as the worst competition in the league. Last week was a farce. The reality is that this team is no longer what it once was.
And yes, Tomlin, Labeau, and Haley need to go. I no longer can even support Tomlin. Signs have showed that the days of greatness are over. Time to start a new.
And it will take at least a decade to repair. So just expect a few years of total suckdom, and a rebuild. After 2004 to 2010, this team is due for a down period. Its' the cycle of the league, but the Steelers will rise again, but it won't be for a while.
But, hey, the Pirates are GOOD! And the Pens still have some time left before they go through the cycle too.
