This morning I woke up with tons of energy. My first thought was, ‘I’m going to go work out.’ I haven’t worked out since I started the Whole 30. I hadn’t decided if I would go the whole 30 days without working out but I knew for sure I wanted to at least go halfway. I wanted to see what kind of results I could get just by eating real food. From what I’ve read and heard, this is about the time the Tiger Blood starts kicking in. Boundless energy. It’s all easy from here on out. Well I sure hope so because I’m feeling great and I don’t want to lose this.
Before I left for the gym I ate an apple and some almond butter. I spent a little over an hour there and I made sure to take a few selfies so I can document my progress.

Afterwards I made some iced coffee with homemade creamer and I added some gelatin. I thought maybe I could use it to get a little extra protein. I added an entire pack and I think I may only need a sprinkle or two. It began to solidify a little so I would get little gel clusters coming through the straw every now and then. It was interesting but I didn’t mind.

I began to experiment a little. I was going to make chia pudding to have on hand for the week, only this time I used canned coconut cream instead of coconut milk. It comes out a little thicker this way. Before I added the chia seeds I saw a bowl of berries in my fridge and I thought, ‘I wonder what this would taste like’ and I added them to my pudding. I am so glad I did because it tasted amazing! At first it was like cheesecake and then it was like yogurt. All goodness. I’m thinking I may eat it for breakfast.

I didn’t really eat lunch today. I just kind of snacked on pineapple and I wasn’t hungry after that. For dinner I had an amazing idea. I warmed up a hamburger patty and I put a fried egg on top. Don’t knock it ‘til you try it! I also added bacon and avocado. So freakin’ good! I had a side of watermelon with chile too. I couldn’t believe it but when I was done I was full. I couldn’t imagine eating anything more. I know I’ve mentioned this before but my appetite has changed so much since I began the Whole 30.

I was planning on eating a second apple tonight to make up for the one I missed yesterday but I’m still full. I will have to double up tomorrow instead.
Goodnight ya’ll!
17 days complete. 13 more to go.
