I heard a long time ago from someone that we as people are not supposed to ask “why?”
I disagree.
Why not ask “why” to a lot of the things and situations that are going on and that are taking place within life.
We all know the story of the devil being kicked out of heaven, and about Adam and Eve disobeying God and getting kicked out of the garden.
Still, what about all of the people who did not ask to be born to come into this world the way that things turned out.
It is not everyone else’s fault what happened beforehand.
I have asked and wondered why too. Why as to certain things regardless of how much scripture I have read, how many incredible experiences I have had with God, or how deep my spiritual gifts ran.
There are questions we need answers to, unexplainable events and occurrences that are inexcusable to our understanding.
Like why does God allow innocent babies to get raped, beaten, and murdered when he can instantly wipe out the existence of any human being or creature on the planet and beyond?
How is preventing a baby from getting hurt interfering with someone else’s free will? And, if it does interfere what is the big deal when it is to save a child or any innocent individual from being harmed?
This is just one of many examples of happenings to be pondered and discussed.
I am not trying to knock God it is just one of those why questions that we sometimes ask.
Some may say who are we to question God, but the Lord gave us minds to think with, thoughts to deliberate, and mouths to speak and to make inquiries with.
We are not guaranteed every answer to all of our questions here on this earth, yet the Lord welcomes us to seek him with all of our hearts and to not be afraid to ask for wisdom.
Must I forever see these evil deeds? Why must I watch all this misery? Wherever I look, I see destruction and violence. I am surrounded by people who love to argue and fight. The law has become paralyzed, and there is no justice in the courts. The wicked far outnumber the righteous, so that justice has become perverted. –Habakkuk 1:3-4
Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. -1 Corinthians 13:12
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. –James 1:5-6
