If you are a makeup addict a Fan Tail brush is a must have. Why must have?
A Fan tail brush is a multi purpose brush, there are two types of Fan Tail brushes in the Makeup Brush Sector, Duo Fibre, and natural hair.
Duo Fibre brushes are much better at wiping out the excess makeup or the eye shadow / glitters dusts on your face. You can also use it applying liquid concealers, water based foundations like MUFE ones.
Ofcourse If you are using a mineral powder concealer, you can choose this one to apply your concealer
On the other hand there are not a lot of brands offering us Fan Tail Brush.
I have been using The Vintage Cosmetics Company's Fan Tail Brush for a couple of weeks every single day, I tried it with loose bronzers, pressed bronzer, bronzing pearls- rocks, loose - pressed powders, blushes, (pressed & loose), conturing, setting powders, highlighters, etc. This brush is perfect for applying Too Faced's Bahama Mama, Too Faced's highlighter which I can not call its name right now , The Balm Sexy Mama , any loose powders, finishing powders, I used this brush to apply NEW CID's Coral Crush, and I'm seriously amazed the look on my cheeks. I tried it with The Balm Bronzing Bandit, The Balm-Mary-Lou-Manizer-Luminizer and also with NYX Grinding Blushes.
I only find it difficult to use this brush with NYX Grinding Blushes.
This brush is very powerful when it comes to using it with loose bronzers and bronzing rocks, I find it easier to apply and work with, I am quite heavy handed and even If iI try to apply soft and gentle with the other brushes, I do get more than I want / desire on my cheeks. But with this brush I can easily control the blush or bronzer I am applying to my cheeks.
One of the other great things with this specific brush is I nearly brought the brush inside out, there as no single bristle on my face, so not bristles are falling out.
This is a long handled pink brush, It's nice to see a different color other, most of the makeup brushes are black handled, there are few exceptions of course.
If we go in details, this brush is really soft, I have got 6 fan brushes, excluding this one.
I can say this is the softest fan tail brush after Shu-Uemura's fan brush.
This has got the widest bristles out of all the 5 fan brushes I have. They have more or less equal width with Art Net's Fan tail brush.
Art Net's fan tail brush was my favorite , as it was my multi purpose brush especially when I am traveling and where I do not want to carry lots of face brushes. They do not take a lot of place when you put them into a brush case but they do make a good weight and bad past experiences teached whenever I travel with highly expensive brushes and makeup my suitcase gone missing and I loose half of my makeup. Only last summer I lost £500 worh makeup when I am traveling plus 3 of my Nars Brushes Nars Botan Kabuki, Nars Ita Kabuki & Yachiyo Brushes.
Now I learned my lesson and I will not be carrying any expensive makeup or brushes, I will be carrying most of my makeup on my hand luggage, I will be putting any liquid in to my suitcase, I am not even planning to take a foundation with me, I am planning to buy one at the duty free.
If you are traveling carry less, as less as you can.
I do really find this life saver, whilst I am not going to take any blusher blushes with me when I am traveling I will be taking this and a powder brush.
Generally speaking few of my fan brushes bristles are not that soft, sometimes it just irritates my skin, it just feels like cactus on a brush handle:(
Black Handled Brush is an Art Net Brush and it is at least over 15 years old.
I just had a look on their website and they have some amazing eye makeup brushes :)
To be honest this is one of the best fan tail brush I have ever used.
I think it's a perfect sized brush, This brush is at the ideal shape and length. and I do not think that You need something bigger than this brush unless if you are a looking for a fan tail brush that you can use it on your body as well.
It's a personal recommendation add this brush to your collection.
You can buy this Brush +feelunique.com or @TheVintageCosmeticCompany
