The Sunday Salon – March 30th Edition

By Whatsheread

Happy Sunday! We are still celebrating the Badgers’ win last night for Bo Ryan’s first trip to the Final Four. Such an exciting win too. I don’t think my heart can handle another game like that. Of course, if it means a win to the Big Dance, I’ll take it. We shall see what next Saturday brings.

The weather is definitely showing signs of improvement. Most of the snow is gone, so now I can see just how poorly we raked this past fall. We have a lot of work to do to get the yard in tip-top shape for the spring. We also are getting ourselves organized for spring cleaning. ‘Tis the season, and it will feel so good to freshen up the house after such a long, long winter.

Speaking of long winter, Jim couldn’t wait to take the motorcycle out for the first ride of the year. It’s a tad too chilly for me, but he’s out checking out the roads and seeing how his bike fared after its winterization. I cannot wait for it to warm up enough for me to start riding again!

In honor of spring, we are busting out the grill. Mmmm… Have a great Sunday and an even better week!
