The Skin Buffet - Lemon Grass Mask Review

By Ireviewuread

For those of you who’ve been to the basement of Far East Plaza, you might have come across this lady giving out mask trying to attracted potential customers in the store. As expected, curious + slightly cheapo me caught her bait and got away with a free mask!

Lemon grass mask - A relaxation method to help revitalize your skin.

However, for me this relaxation method was not as relaxing as I thought it would be.

Upon, opening the package, I reached in to find my hand in contact of a gooey gel-liked substance. I freaked out. I thought my rough handling destroyed the mask. As I gingerly lifted the mask out of it’s package, I realized that the mask is not destroyed. It’s just very horribly positioned.

Meaning? It’s like they slap a piece of gel aka the mask’s essence and hamburger that into place with a pearl paper and a mask sheet.

Since the situation have arrived at this stage, I’ll just make do with what’s left. With a robust lemongrass smell giving out from the mask, I finally feel a sense of relaxation as a calm and chilled feeling take over my face. As that was happening, I did notice that my hand dried up because of too much contact with the gooey gel. I did not thought much about it.

After half an hour, it was time to remove the mask. I did noticed the lemongrass scent have evolved into cardboard scent. However I ain’t thinking that much for my face looked white, refreshed and smooth. When the essence is fully absorbed in my skin, like the skin on my hands, I did feel my face tightening. Be it as it may, it was late and I need my beauty sleep and so I dozed off.

Morning came, my skin became worst. It’s like the area around the pimple gotten redder and my skin become dull  :(

With that story told, I would give this mask half an IreviewUread smile.
