The New Php129 Mint Polish

By Blessmybag @blessmybag

I have another new and different polish favorite, it's a mint but it isn't stereotypically that baby turquoise aqua hue. Meet Essence's "Like An Unforgettable Kiss" collection polish in 02 Always on My Mint.

It's more green than blue, like a hazy sea foam with more yellow and I dare say a tiny hint of grey (this is more noticeable in real life). It leans more towards pistachio. Read on for the full post.

If Smith & Cult's currently hot, greiged out celadon polish Bitter Buddhist had a baby sister with a big gap between them, she would be this...lighter, fresher, undoubtedly pastel but still the same tone, significantly not turquoise. Here I have a base coat, 3 thin coats, and a top coat applied.

Here's how Always on My Mint looks in different indoor lighting on someone else via Pinterest, click here to see it and you'll see what I mean about the hue having more yellow than your usual aqua mint. The drying time is quick, about 1.5 to 2 minutes per layer, and it's the same consistency as my already reviewed Barry M polish in "Eat My Dust" plus " Always on My Mint" also has a lovely wide brush. I picked this polish up from SM Aura department store for Php129.00...it just popped out at me on the shelf.
