And it is actually more of a hindrance than an exciting prospect.
Tonight is a big game for Celtic, lots of players coming back in due to injury and Lennon’s own poor selection with a lot to prove to cement their place. Players who set the heather on fire last season and need to badly recapture form, & also the need to get a morale boosting and face-saving win following Sunday’s embarrassment.
But for me, when I did remember we were travelling to Dingwall this evening, I remembered I actually have other things in my life to do this evening and if the impossible (but not really that improbable) happens – then I could be doing without the pain and anger this evening. I can also be doing without the back page headline and possible front page Sport caption in the Metro wiring into us and lamenting our exceptionally poor form without even thinking about work the next day and the stifled laughter.
But then again that’s what we have been born into, taught, suffered and endured – through the years & through the ringer – but we wouldn’t change it for anything. I’ll have my beady eye on the screen whilst some of my family come round to drool over my wedding album – don’t f*** it up Bhoys as it’s a hefty old object and I love my tv!!
