It’s been quite awhile since I’ve done a restaurant review. We had some great dinners but I just kind of forget to bring my small camera and take pictures. Oops. I’m working hard on enjoying life more!
We went out with our friends Ron and Christine last Friday to the Butcher Block in Northeast Minneapolis. A great small space that focuses on meat and Italian food. The first line about them- Meat is our passion. It defiantly was!
Ron can be picky (sorry!) so I try to pick new places that will make him happy too. Scott and I loved our New York strip with roasted potatoes and pancetta while Christine loved her grilled pork chop. Unfortunately Ron didn’t love his
Our service was great, wine was delicious and the ambiance was spot on. 3 out of the 4 of us loved our dishes. So I would call that a decent night. Not perfect but certainly enjoyable.
