After a week long hiatus (thanks to my rubbish internet connection), here I am with a new post, with a really old and" has-been" product.
So why i am writing about this now? Well, simply because I have rediscovered how fabulous this is!!
To put it in few words, I had this product about 2-3 years ago, and I hated it! It accentuated my dry patches, gave no good coverage and made my face oily. That was also the time when I had zilch knowledge about foundations.
Recently, when I was travelling, I picked it up again on the airport, forgetting the fact I had used it before. When I reached my hotel and took it out, it hit me..."OMG! Nooooo!!!" I pulled myself together and decided to use it after proper 1234 skincare steps (Cleanse, Exfoliate, Tone & Moisturize).

As you can see, the foundation come in a compact box with a mirror. It has two compartments. The lower one has a brush. Of Course, the brush is not too good. It leaves streaks while applying and never helps in blending. This is not a cream-to-powder foundation, atleast according to me. It never goes matte/powdery, infact it gives a beautiful luminosity to skin. The foundation is very creamy. Coverage provided is light-medium. It does a pretty good job covering redness a blemishes. The shade I have is Golden Ivory. Another plus, for some maybe the presence of SPF15.
Pros :
- Packaging
- Portability
- Ease of use
- Great texture
- Blendability
- Presence of both yellow and pink tone shades along with few neutral
- Availability
- Fragrance free
- Dewy/luminous results
- SPF15
- Paraben free
Cons:
- Might be too oily for some so no good for oily skin
- Coverage is not great
- It is only 8.5g for the price, a normal foundation comes in 30ml size, therefore mathematically it is as costly, if not more, as a luxury foundation.
- You NEED to have exfoliated skin before use, else it enhances dry patches
Only thing you need to remember while using this foundation is that you should not have dry patches on your skin, as it may accentuate them. It shows great results with an exfoliated face. Yes you do need to set it with powder as it may grease up on some.
My second inning with this marvel brought me great results. It makes my skin look super luminous and healthy, without making it look like "makeup". It is perfect to carry around in your purse. Specially during travels.
I like this foundation a lot and I am definitely going to buy this product again.
