Hello all, few days back I got an invitation for an event on 13th November at City Centre-Salt Lake, Kolkata for the launch of new “Drops of Youth Power Duo- Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate Serum and Drops of Youth Concentrate Eye Roll-On”. I was very excited to attend the event as this was the first time I was attending a bloggers event. The beautiful actress Jacqueline Fenandez who is the brand ambassador of The Body Shop was in the “City of Joy” to launch the product. The event was was followed by a bloggers meet in the evening. I attended the meet where I got to know other fellow bloggers from the city and it was lovely to know and interact with all of them.
Few minutes before the event started
Firstly, we were given a warm welcome by the lovely Aanchal. The theme was green and white so the entire store was decorated likewise. She then introduced us to Aradhika Mehta, who told us about the newly launched products- the Drops of Youth Eye Serum and Eye Concentrate. Infused with stem cells of Edelweiss, a rare flower that possess exceptional skin renewal properties for eyes that loom and feel wide open with reduced appearance of eye bags and wrinkles.
Glimpses from the event
Some of us got an eye massage with the newly launched products followed my a quick makeover session. There were tasty food from Mrs. Magpie including cute cupcakes in green and white, mushroom tartlets, spinach and corn eclair and much more. All of them tasted heavenly :).
Yummy
There was a caricature artist who made funny caricatures for us. We had photo sessions too and got our pictures clicked and printed.
Picture perfect
We were given the Drops of Youth Serum and Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate before we left. I haven’t started using it yet but I’ll do that soon and let you people know how it worked for my eyes. It was a lovely event organized by The Body Shop and I’m really looking forward to such wonderful events in near future.
