The Best Toner I Ever Used So Far: Purito Centella Green Level Calming Toner Review

By Alyssa Martinez @ItsMariaAlyssa

After I publish the first three reviews of Purito products, the brand offered to send me three more products! This time from their Centella line, of course, I said yes. Because of Centella Asiatica is one of the most trendy skincare ingredients nowadays. Purito sent me a toner, serum, and an eye cream but I will review them individually, starting with the toner. Did it live up to my expectations? Scroll down to read my Purito Centella Green Level Calming Toner review.

But first, what is a Centella?

Centella Asiatica, also known as Gota Kola or "miracle elixirs of life" is an herb often found in India, Sri Lanka, China, South Africa, Mexico, amongst others. Although some chemical components of Centella vary depending on where it comes from, Centella extract is generally high in skin-benefitting phytochemicals. It's rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B1 and B2, niacin, and carotene, which combine to brighten skin and fight premature aging. It also has anti-inflammatory benefits and promotes wound healing. So if you have acne-prone skin, you regularly deal with irritation and redness, so this ingredient is really helpful for your skin condition.

WHAT IS IT?

Purito Centella Green Level Calming Toner is a deep moisturizing, hydrating, calming and soothing toner with a pH balanced of 5.5. It contains not just Centella Asiatica and Hyaluronic Acid which helps dry and rough skin that suffered from oxidization stress. It also minimizes the dry feeling from inside the skin and reduces irritation with mild care.

INGREDIENTS

It contains 10$ Centella Asiatica Extract and Hyaluronic Acid that helps promote wound healing. This is also alcohol-free, paraben-free, and sulfate-free. It is perfectly safe and suits both the dry and oily skin. You can read its full ingredient analysis in Skin Carisma.

PERFORMANCE

APPLICATION: After cleansing, apply a moderate amount of the Purito Centella Green Level Calming Toner to your hands or cotton pad and spread it out along the skin layer gently feeling like you are wiping it out. And then pat your skin so that it can soak up the product. If you have dry skin or severe dry feeling from inside your skin, reapply the product four times.

SCENT: It smells like an herb with a little sweetness to it, very soothing. The scent actually reduces my migraine.

PACKAGING: It is packaged in a sturdy green plastic bottle. But unlike other toners who have a thick consistency, this one does not come in a pump bottle, it's just like your regular toners. This also comes with a brown box which I highly suggest you open by cutting in half because it has cute illustrations in many ways you could use this product.

FORMULA: As mentioned above, it has a thick consistency, almost gel-like but still really runny. It is also clear and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a tacky finish.

RESULTS: I have been using the Purito Centella Green Level Calming Toner for almost a month now. I love how it keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized without the greasy feeling. I had fungal acne and this product helped me reduced it. And when my skin feels dry inside especially when I started using a facial wash with salicylic acid, I just applied this toner four times and it quickly hydrated my skin and prevents it from breaking out. It also calms and soothes the redness on my skin. Seriously, I have nothing but praise for this product! This is the best toner I have used so far, no bullsh**!

VERDICT

PROS: Hydrating, Moisturizing, Calming, and Soothing. It really helps in reducing my redness and fungal acne.

CONS: Honestly, I don't see any con. The only thing I don't like is, this product is hard to find in my country. It's only available in online stores based in other countries.

Will I Buy It Again? Absolutely Yes!
