Thank you to all the people who visited and commented on my site throughout the year. I have compiled a list of the top eight most visited recipes for the year.
It is hard to believe that this year is just about ended. Where has the time gone to? I started the tradition of highlighting the top five most visited recipes two years ago. So it has kind of been a tradition to do this on New Years Eve.
This year has certainly been filled with lots of great stuff both blog related and personal. Although with having the flu right after Thanksgiving and into the Advent season certainly did not help me in getting shopping and other things done. To be honest I am kind of glad that that aspect of it is over.
Although technically we have until January 6th before the Christmas season is over, I am kind of glad the hustle and bustle of Christmas day is behind us. Each year it seems we try to do to much with such little time. Because I was sick, I could not do all the stuff that I had planned. I was forced to make it simple. I am kind of glad that I did.
Throughout the year I used the summers bounty to make pickles and all kinds of jams. I put those in cute little baskets and gave them away to family and friends. All the kids in the family we went ahead and got toys and such. All of the family members love the homemade goodies I made and look forward to them each year.
This is also my first year making money for the blog. I did a sponsored post for Nestle Delightfuls. The campaign ended yesterday. If you are interested in perhaps making some money for your site visit linqia and find out more.
So here are the top 8 posts of 2014.
