The Atlanta Hawks So Far

Al Horford

Lets take a look at the Atlanta Hawks. They've sneaked into the 3rd seed in the east with a 20-11 start. They are lead by Josh Smith with 17 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. If he gains that perimeter shot and a clutch gene he will be a handful for opposing teams.

Josh Smith

Then you have Al Horford who is averaging 16.1 points and 9.7. Ever since he was drafted I knew he had potential and he's starting to play like a great center. Jeff Teague has been playing good with 13.2 points and 6.7 assists. Kyle Korver has 10.6 and he is a beast at sinking that 3 ball.

Lou Williams

Louis Williams who is averaging 14.8 points, he need to get that up I know he's capable of 20 per game. Now lets review the bench. Devin Harris has 7.7 points and 2.5 assists, he needs to get those numbers up. Zaza Pachulia is averaging 6.3 points with 7.1 rebounds. Anthony Morrow has 5.5 points.
I believe they will maintain that 3 seed. Will they make it far in the playoffs ? I don't think so. They will have a tough time with teams like the Heat, Knicks, and Celtics. If they acquire a good SF this offseason they could make a deep run.
