Texas National Park is Looking for Volunteers to Camp for 3 Months

Houston, Texas – This Texas national park is looking for volunteers to camp at the national park for up to 3 months.

This is great opportunity for everyone who want to trade their city life for camp life.

Located to the south of Texas near the border with New Mexico, Guadalupe Mountains National Park is looking for several enthusiasts to camp at one of their three offered campsites.

Volunteers can choose between two periods, either October through December or July through September.

This the list of requirements:

  • 32 working hours per week
  • three months commitment
  • each camper should have their own RV or trailer with a shower and bathroom

The job duties are the following:

  • daily water testing
  • monitoring safety
  • assisting in search-and-rescue efforts
