London band Terra Twin peddle a special flavor of slacker art-rock on their new EP Scumbag, with songs about self-destruction, delusion and jealousy, the kind of feelings that are an essential part of human life, but are supposed to be kept hidden from other people's probing eyes.
Their devil-may-care delivery is just a smart way to cope with harsh realities, besides having time for istrospection and wondering why love affairs and dreams they had seemed to have slipped through their fingers. Should they have put up a fight? Nah, it is safer choice to plug in their instruments and turn their grief and anger into a bunch of songs that are decidedly British with seasoning of Americana.
