Ten of The Worlds Rarest And Most Fascinating Audi Cars

By Russell Deasley @Worlds_Top_10

Audi is often considered one of the most reliable, finest and luxury car in the world. You might even consider yourself a bit of a fan of the company brand name, but some of the cars on this list might well surprise you. These ten Audi cars are the rarest, the most expensive and sometimes even the craziest cars you will ever see and all of them personally made under the Audi AG brand of luxury vehicles…

Audi Type E

First made in 1923 This classic roadster was a step up in luxury that people had never seen before. Even now you can see the influences this original car has on its modern counterparts.

2003 Audi LeMans Concept

From the very first Audi car, we go to the most expensive. This one of a kind car was made by Audi engineers and was a test to show how far they could take engine technology at the time. It was a 5-litre engine that produced 610 bhp with a crazy top speed of 345 kph!

2000 Audi Rosemeyer Concept

If you like your cars to be one of a kind this is the car for you. While it is more of a racing car than anything you can practically drive daily it is still drivable on UK roads and will certainly turn some heads as you cruise around.

1991 Audi Avus Quattro Concept

If you ask me this 1991 concept model looks way better than its 2000 counterpart and a lot more futuristic. You can expect to pay upwards of $3,000,000 for this car, but it does have a crazy low profile that means you could probably drive under trucks and not be seen.

1914 Audi 14/35 Type C Alpine Victor

You don’t have to live in the alps to drive this car, you can look cool driving it anywhere and you will be seen because it has a top speed of only 41 miles per hour.

1968 Audi 80 Variant

Only ten of these cars are still around despite hundreds of them being made making it quite a rare and valuable find. Sure, it isn’t anything special to look at, but inside the car still has a touch of class and elegance that you only get with an Audi car.

1980 Group S Rally Prototype

No, the image isn’t distorted, it really does look like this and was going to be used in Le-Mans racing as a compact racer. But sadly they could never get the speed up to scratch with their larger racing counterparts.

Audi MK1 TT Hot Pink

No, this is not a custom paint job, it really was a factory choice colour in the 2000’s, but of course, not many people brought one making it quite rare, if a little…loud.

Audi Qnicorn

Was this unicorn-inspired car a one-off? You bet, but it was made by Audi themselves as a marketing ploy. While it was for nothing else other than launching the Q3 it is still a cool car, just a little…dangerous to other road users.

Green Audi RS5

This colour of RS5 is so rare that only 10 were ever made, one of which now sits in a museum as a collector’s piece. Sure, the insides of the car were nothing special, but rare colours like this do fetch a good penny at auctions.

Audi Sport Quattro S1 – 1987

And we finish with a motorsport classic. But this was an ultra-rare road-legal version that doesn’t have many of the features its racing counterpart did, but it is much more comfortable to drive.
