Ten of the Worlds Biggest Trucks That Are All Absolutely Massive!

By Russell Deasley @Worlds_Top_10

Have you ever wondered what the biggest trucks in the world are? I don’t just mean transport lorries or big building yard trucks, I mean industrial-sized dump trucks that carry extraordinary amounts of rubble and other things. If you like your trucks big look no further than these ten monsters of the truck world…

Caterpillar Dumper 794 AC

Designed and manufactured by Caterpillar it is 50 feet long, 26 feet high and 32 feet wide! This electric drive truck delivers a full 320-ton payload which is often overloaded to take more than that amount.

Bucyrus MT6300AC

The Bucyrus MT6300AC is an off-highway, ultra class, two-axle, diesel/AC electric powertrain haul truck designed and manufactured by Bucyrus International Inc. in the United States. The MT6300AC is Bucyrus’ largest, highest payload capacity haul truck, offering one of the largest haul truck payload capacities in the world, up to 400 short tons (363 t). Its 51 feet long, 36 feet high and 26 feet wide!

Hitachi EH5000AC-3

The EH5000AC-3 is Hitachi’s largest rigid-frame haulier ever. It’s one of the most technologically advanced mining trucks on the market and it helps raise profits by lowering fuel and maintenance costs. It doesn’t just get work done – it gets more work done!

Caterpillar Dumper 797

The Caterpillar 797 was the largest truck in the world at one point. Sadly, unless you work in a mine, you’re probably never going to see one. It’s 23 feet tall, 50 feet long and 31 feet wide! It cal also carry 313 tonnes of raw material.

BelAZ 75710

The BelAZ 75710 is an ultra-class haul truck manufactured in Belarus by BelAZ. It has the claim to fame for being officially the world’s largest highest payload capacity haul truck and it can carry up to 500 tonnes of martial with a top speed of 64 km/h (40 mph).

Komatsu 960E-2

For years Berti has offered a wide range of highly specialized equipment for those working in the professional sector, but this is their biggest truck so far. At 50 ft long, 30 feet wide and 24 feet tall this is a beast that would often never be seen by the public eye.

Terex Titan 33-19

The Terex 33-19 “Titan” was a prototype off-highway, ultra class, rigid frame, three-axle, diesel/AC electric powertrain haul truck designed by the Terex Division of General Motors. Once upon a time it was the worlds biggest truck, but has since lost that crown after being retired due to constant maintenance failures, but it was still worth including.

Liebherr T282-B

The Liebherr T 282 series are off-highway, ultra class, rigid frame, two-axle, diesel-electric, AC powertrain haul trucks designed and manufactured in the United States by Liebherr Mining Equipment Co. While they are no longer in production there are many of these trucks still in operation on mines around the world.

Truk Raksasa 10

This concept fully electric dump truck isn’t going to be as big as many on this list, but it is said to hold over to 220 tonnes of raw material and have a top speed of 72 km/h (50 mph).

ETF Faul Train

Just one of these trucks can haul around 120 tonnes of material from one place to another, but this is designed to be part of a Haul train, with up to 4 of them being able to be driven by a single driver! While it is still a concept design at the moment it could one day become a reality in mines all over the world.
