Tarte's Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler Bends the Rules!

I have been intrigued by the Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler
from Tarte ever since I first laid eyes on it. Perhaps it is not terribly unusual,
but every eyelash curler I had noticed before was no where near as, I guess,
bent. This sucker has a serious angle to it! I have been happy enough with the
eyelash curlers I tried in the past, but this one just kept begging me to try
it. So, finally, I did!
I remember learning about eyelash curlers when I was quite
young because my mother used this strange, medieval-torture-devise-looking
thing every morning and it always fascinated me. As I grew older and actually
started using the torturous-looking eyelash curler, I became a huge fan! I
notice such a difference in the appearance of my eyes when I curl my lashes. My
eyes look bigger, more awake and just a bit more “polished.” Strangely though,
eyelash curlers always looked exactly the same to me as the ancient one my
mother used when I was a kid. Sure, I have learned that some can “crimp” your
lashes with an unnatural bend, while a few brands seem to make for a better
curl or fit better near my eye, but they basically all look the same. Why am I droning on about the appearance of a silly
eyelash curler? Because Tarte’s Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler actually looks different! Most lash curlers are
fairly straight with a handle that’s relatively in-line with the “cage” that
curls the lashes and everything seems to fit into a neat little package. The
Tarte curler is a bit…hmm…expansive. Lol! The handle seems like it is almost
bent at a 45 degree angle from the curling pads. Now I’m not typically one to
think that looks make a huge difference in the effectiveness of a product, but
the Tarte Eyelash Curler actually IS
different!
Tarte’s Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler is not so different
in the curl that it gives, but in the ability to get that curl. The strange angles of the curler make it much easier
to get the curler into my eye area and, thus, the actual curling portion closer
to my lashes. I have absolutely no trouble with my eyelid getting pinched in
the curler or the curler being just a tad too close to the root of my lashes
and pulling on the lashes just a tiny bit too hard. The curler still gets very
close to the base of my lashes and it creates a nice curl. It feels quite “springy”
when you close it which not only makes it seem gentler on your lashes, but I
think it also helps prevent the awkward bend in lashes that some curlers cause.
I will say that the super spring-loaded action makes it at least seem like lashes are not curled as
firmly, but I am not sure this is actually true. I would imagine if you have
lashes that are highly resistant to curling, this curler might not be strong
enough, but for the vast majority of people, I think the Tarte Picture Perfect
Eyelash Curler will work wonders on lashes!
I admit that I was rather skeptical that the shape of an
eyelash curler could make much difference in the ability to curl my lashes, but
Tarte’s Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler has proven me wrong! I really love this
curler – and no, I never thought I would profess my love for an eyelash curler!
It is so easy to reach my lashes, I never
pinch my eyelids anymore and the curl is perfect – no right angle bends in
these lashes!!! I would definitely recommend trying the Tarte Lash Curler
whether you need a new one or not! I didn’t think I really needed a different curler, but Tarte has proven that I cannot live
without the Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler! Plus, it comes with a deluxe sample
of Tarte’s “Light’s, Camera, Lashes” Mascara!, and for a slightly lower price
than many popular eyelash curlers. You really can’t go wrong!
