I have personally barely tried any Korean beauty products so I was very excited to use these skincare products from some of the most well-known Korean beauty brands. Here are my thoughts:

Tony Moly Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream

Now the word ‘peeling’ might sound a little scary at first but this cream is in fact, really gentle! Aimed to treat dull skin and remove dead skin, the AHA peeling cream contains active fruit acids to remove dead skin cells, allowing your skin to be able to absorb other skincare products (such as moisturisers) in a more effective manner.

The cream itself is an opaque white, creamy lotion type texture with a light pleasant scent. To use this product, simply massage it on your skin for 1 – 2 minutes, leave it for 30 seconds, then massage to remove the ‘peeled skin’ and then rinse off with warm water.

After some trial and error, I found it best to leave it on my face for about 1 – 2 minutes instead of the recommended 30 seconds before attempting to massage it for a second time to peel and remove the mask before rinsing my face. The peel that comes from the mask is similar to rubber shavings (sorry, it’s the only way I know how to describe it!) and easy to massage off the face before rinsing. After rinsing, I felt my skin was left feeling smooth and soft and did appear to have a brighter and clearer complexion. This cream is very gentle and gives a very light exfoliation to the skin and the peeling that occurs is mostly the mask itself being rubbed off the skin so it doesn’t irritate the skin at all. One thing to note with this cream is that it doesn’t necessary leave your skin feel ‘super clean’ as a traditional exfoliator would.

Mediheal N.M.F Aquaring Ampoule Mask

This has to be my favorite of all the 4 products I tried. This sheet mask aims to boost hydration levels of the skin, tighten pores as well as providing nutrients. After cleaning and using a toner, you then apply the skeet mask to the face, leave for 10 – 20 minutes, remove the mask and gently pat any remaining essence onto the skin. Ingredients include: N.M.F (Natural Moisture Factor), Hyaluronic Acid, Witch Hazel, Mushroom and Sweet Almond Extract, this mask delivers in so many ways.

Once the mask is on, it refreshes and cools the skin and during that 10 – 20 minute period, you can really feel that your skin is getting a hydration boost from the mask. The amount of essence on the mask and packet is quite generous so you could definitely leave the mask on for longer to reap all the benefits. After removing the mask, your skin is left feeling so hydrated, smooth and supple and my pores did appear to reduce in size. Even days after use, my skin was still feeling the effects of the mask as it felt moisturised and soft! This mask definitely takes a place as one of the top 2 sheet masks I’ve ever used. I highly recommend trying this mask!

Tony Moly Tomatox Magic White Massage Pack

Like the Tony Moly cream above, this product also comes in super cute packaging, this time replicating a tomato! Once you screw off the lid, you’ll find a small spatula and a secondary lid covering the mask to keep it hygienic. The steps to use this mask are easy to apply, apply and massage onto the face, leave for 10 – 20 minutes and then rinse off and continue with your usual skincare regime.

The mask is quite thick and almost sticky in consistency and has a classic, light skincare scent. Opaque white, the mask is easy to apply to the face and as you leave it on for the 10 – 20 minutes, the mask does give a firming and tightening effect though it doesn’t flake or crack away.

Aimed the purify, detoxify and brighten the skin, this mask definitely delivers on those claims! After the 10 – 20 minutes, you simply need to rinse the mask off and as it is quite a thick mask, having a cloth on hand to help with the rinsing off helps quite a lot. The results from this product were definitely pleasing as I found my skin was left feeling refreshed, smoothed and brighter with a more awake appearance.

Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot Mask Sheet

This was a totally new product to me. Whilst I love sheet masks for the face and have even tried hand masks, I’d never ventured to try a foot mask so this was my first time trying one out and I have to say it was actually quite nice.

To use, simply apply the masks to your feet, massage for a little while to allow the essence to start absorbing into your skin and then leave for 15 – 20 minutes.

The mask comes in one piece which you then need to tear to separate it into two, one for each foot. The masks feature an outer plastic layer which keeps the serum in and allows you to be able to walk around and size wise, are large enough for your foot to wear comfortably for the duration, although there was a bit of a weird feeling when trying to walk in them so I suggest sitting back and relaxing whilst you leave the masks on. I don’t have any issues with my feet but I did find that they were felt feeling refreshed and soft after use!

I highly recommend taking a look at STYLE STORY if you’re in the market for Korean Beauty products as they provide a wide range of products at affordable prices! Each order also comes with free samples! Another exciting product from the STYLE STORY:
