Today we have two great LCHF recipes, a super smoothie and a dairy-free latte:
Super Smoothie
Are you in a hurry in the morning? Then a smoothie may be a great option. It's just as easy to make it a dairy-free smoothie.
Ingredients
2 servings 2 eggs
3 tablespoons coconut oil
½ cup (1 dl) water
½ cup (1 dl) yogurt, 10%
1 pinch vanilla powder
½ cup (1 dl) blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, kiwi, mango or avocado in piecesInstructions
1. Blend all ingredients with a stick blender or a blender. One serving can be saved for the following day. 2. Add flavor with some licorice powder or a piece of dark chocolate.
TIP! You can just as easily make a dairy-free smoothie. Replace the water and the yogurt in the recipe above with a can of coconut milk.
Dairy-Free Latte
Ingredients
2 servings 2 eggs
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1½ cup (4 dl) hot water
1 pinch vanilla powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger, cloves and cinnamonInstructions
1. Blend all ingredients with a stick blender. Drink immediately.
TIP! Want hot chocolate or a plain latte? Replace the spices with 1 tablespoon of cocoa or instant coffee.
